Our fishing charter, the one with me Zambo, I run it with departures from Watamu, Kenya.
Every morning at 6:30, or 7
Our 2 boats are 13-meter fishing boats, super fully equipped
All the gear for Black Marlin fishing is already on board our boats
Black Marlin fishing is truly spectacular. In fact this fish can give us incredible thrills and it’s a show just to watch it, since it’s a fish that feeds on the surface and you can see the strike live, after which it will amaze you with jumps out of the water that will give you images you’ll carry inside you for quite a long time.
The specimens here are a good size; in fact in recent years we’ve had fish even over 1000 lb.
Anyway the standard size normally ranges from 300 lb to 600 lb, this is the average
Trips will normally last 8/9 hours and it’s possible to extend the fishing days too
The people on board are all very experienced in the field and competent in any fishing situation.
The fishing techniques are normally the ones you request, but the most productive are:
Trolling with lures along the coast
Offshore trolling for big predators
Vertical Jigging
Slow Pitch
Popping on feeding frenzies
Strong bottom fishing
These will be very demanding days and the targets we’ll go after will be many
Kenya is one of the best spots on the coast for Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striper Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, Yellowfin, GT, Wahoo, Sailfish, Groupers, Bonito, Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack and many other kinds of fish
In fact, in the period from August to mid-May we can encounter the big Black and Blue Marlin of the Indian Ocean, which pass through in this season
The big specimens that reach even over 1000 lb can give you huge emotions and impressive scenes for the size and liveliness of this fish, with crazy jumps

The catches we’ll mainly target will be Tuna, Yellowfin, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Amberjack, Dorado, Sailfish, Bonito, GT, Groupers, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin, Tuna, and many more

Our fishing trips are 8/9 hours with departure in the morning at 6:30 or 7; it all depends on the tides and the fish activity at that moment
Our boats are all equipped for fishing
The equipment is included in the fishing package
Food on board included, with sandwiches and soft drinks
The accommodation is a Lodge with Bungalows with double or single beds for private use
and it includes overnight stay with breakfast, and if needed also full board or half board
